CMAS is a market-leader in youth provision

Community Mentoring and Support CiC (CMAS) is specifically set up to meet the un-met needs of communities in the South West of England.  We are very proud of our staff team who will be delighted to support councils, committees and individual youth workers to make a success of the work with young people they wish to undertake.

We can support local councils, committees, staff and volunteers in the following areas:

Dan Tipp

Dan has a PgDip in the supervision and management of staff at one of the most highly regarded Informal Education colleges in the country – the George Williams College of the YMCA in Canning Town, London.  He specialises in ensuring staff and volunteers perform to an their highest standard and can advise on structures and processes to enable this to happen.

Ben Evans

Ben has worked as a youth worker, mentor and manager for 18 years.  Between 2006 and 2008 he managed one of the biggest statutory; and between 2003-2005 one of the biggest voluntary sector youth centres in Southwark, London.  In 2010 he worked to find positive solutions to local government cuts, including supporting the management committee of Brockworth Community Project to restructure to enable them to successfully take on their local youth centre and the library.  Ben can advise on governance, providing youth-centred provision and how local Councils can meet the needs of young people.
